There's a first for everything...

Greenfingers I am not but just thought I'd give it a go and grow my own small veggies for salads, cos I love lettuce (any sort) must have been a rabbit in earlier life!!

Don't know if anything will grow but there's no harm in giving it a bash and if anything comes of the seeds that I think I so lovingly planted develop into something will take photos and show that you can be green on a small balcony 8 floors up!

Any comments will be welcome!

Another couple of keyrings to either add to Folksy or Craft Fair on 9th April - better get a move on cos just got too much to do and so little time to do it in!
Both keyrings are made from felt, ribbon, thread, brads and button.

Little cushion cover to be sent far away...

My first ever attempt at quilting!

Cotton Reel shaped Needle Book

Thought I would make a needle book with a difference, this is probably a one off.
I printed the pattern image and wording on Calico using Freezer Paper, floral fabric, sewing maching charm, vintage buttons, felt and wadding - oh yep and vilene.
Going to put this on folksy now and here's wishing you a great Sunday!
Thanks for looking!

Another Egg Cosy but with a difference...

Just thought I'd do a little cross stitching cos not done any for a while.
I used Belfast Linen 28 count, red thread, spotted RJR fabric front & inner, Kokka Jute Linen for the back, vilene and wadding.
Hope you enjoy and any comments are always welcome!

Easter Eggs. Everyday Eggs or Just Eggs!!!!

Well it's nearly Easter so thought I would tackle some egg cosies and this is the first one!
I've been rather busy lately, with work etc. so thought it time I sat down and relaxed!
The egg cosy is made with Kokka Jute Linen, various pieces of Moda Fabric, wadding and a little grossgrain ribbon.
Hope you like it!

Trying out some silhouette buttons...

I was a little tired of stitching and thought I'd do something different!
There were quite a few weeny stamps in my craft box so thought I would try and stamp them onto fabric with a fabric ink pad and chose black on white material.
I am still thinking as to whether they're OK and thought they could be used with a number of projects such as sewing, scrapbooking, cardmaking or gift tags.
Well that's me for today and hope you enjoy looking!

Colourful & Bright Butterfly Brooches

Two really colourful & bright felt butterfly brooches.
I thought I would use the brightest of materials so when someone is wearing them they can feel happy.
Thank you for looking and to buy you can find these on my Folksy shop!
