Greenfingers I am not but just thought I'd give it a go and grow my own small veggies for salads, cos I love lettuce (any sort) must have been a rabbit in earlier life!!
Don't know if anything will grow but there's no harm in giving it a bash and if anything comes of the seeds that I think I so lovingly planted develop into something will take photos and show that you can be green on a small balcony 8 floors up!

I love the idea of growing your own, but have to confess im no gardner either! A few herbs is about as far as i've gone.I look forward to seeing how you get on.

I admire that you are giving this a go. Imagine how wonderful it will be the day you pick your homegrown vegetables. You definitely need to keep us up-to-date on the progress.
